Lots of experimenting with new materials here, also some scribble faces and quickly drawn “step-above-a-scribble” face LOL. Starting to learn what supplies I like working with the best and others I need to practice more with. Also finding out just how important paper is for different mediums! For example, 100 lb presentation card stock is AMAZING for markers! Toned paper and craft paper is perfect for black and white china markers. Flat canvas and old vinyl album covers are great for collage mixed media. I really love working on watercolor paper however NOT when using markers like copic as it sucks up all the ink.

Art Classes
I started taking art classes online. My first two I am sharing here. They are by Jane Davenport (Supplies Me and I Heart Drawing). I’m still participating and finally learning to draw! I decided to learn to draw before I turn 50 LOL. I will also be making folders for my classes on Pinterest.
Journals
Here are some of my past journals I have made. I will be updating on a more regular basis to show new journals. The most up-to-date posts are on Instagram and Facebook. I have a few in my Etsy shop, however most sales are made from my used bookstore, Ye Olde Bookshoppe, in Wenatchee, WA, and Instagram, it’s just easier 🙂 I also try and upload to YouTube as time permits.
I make journals using my own materials, digi designs by others, random junk, scrapbook paper, etc. I make different styles as well. Junk Journals (my fave!), mini albums, sketch and watercolor journals, etc. I hand dye my own coffee paper and assemble the covers myself. I make my own bookcharms and tassels, and even my own paper beads.
